# How It Works

Canonical: [https://www.snoozebay.com/how-it-works](https://www.snoozebay.com/how-it-works)

Four steps to scheduled eBay auto replies without enabling Time Away or showing a Seller is away banner on listings.

## The flow

1. **Connect your eBay account.** Link the seller account you want covered. SnoozeBay works for sellers in any country and uses your local timezone for schedules.
2. **Set your schedule.** Choose when auto replies should fire: evenings, weekends, holidays, or custom windows. Pro supports multiple schedules.
3. **Write your reply.** Craft the out of office or out of hours message once. Buyers who message during an active window get that text automatically.
4. **Replies go out automatically.** When a matching message arrives, SnoozeBay sends your reply in eBay Messages. Time Away stays off, so listings keep looking open for sale.

## What stays off

SnoozeBay answers Messages on a schedule. It does not flip eBay Time Away storefront controls.

- **No Seller is away banner.** Listings and the storefront stay free of Time Away's public away notice.
- **No forced delivery date changes.** SnoozeBay does not rewrite estimated delivery dates the way Time Away can.
- **No pause or hide from this flow.** Listings are not paused or hidden because an auto reply schedule is active.

## Schedules sellers use

- **Weeknights.** Cover after-work hours when buyers still message.
- **Weekends.** Set expectations while the inbox waits until Monday.
- **Trips and holidays.** Date-style windows without putting the store in away mode.
